Samsung Galaxy S II i.e. ISW11SC will be made available in Japan by KDDI from January 20, 2012


Countless variants of Galaxy S mobile phone are available in market and it was expected to be the same with the Galaxy S2 variants. They are spotted in many places across the world. The United States carriers opts for a 4G LTE ready device as LTE is ready. As the Wimax enabled smartphones are getting popular, the Galaxy S II is one device to get the Wimax support.


Here comes another variant of Galaxy S II (the Galaxy S 2 WiMax) with model number ISW11SC which will be available in Japan via KDDI network operator. This phone is more or less similar to Galaxy S II HD LTE and it features 1.4 GHz dual core processor with 4.7” Super AMOLED HD display with maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It packs 8MP camera on the back side and 2MP camera on the front with full HD video recording and includes various other features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, microSD card slot, NFC support and 16 GB internal memory.
The Wimax 4G services from KDDI in Japan is expanding to cover a wide area will be made available for purchase in Japan from January 20, 2012. Samsung Galaxy S 2 WiMax weighs 139 grams and it has a voice usage time of up to 670 minutes.
